Posture Break – “20×20”

Here is a good rule of thumb for any visually-dependent activity (computer, crafts, handwork, etc) —

the “20-20 rule“:

For every 20 minutes on the computer (or other visual demand), look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.

Use this pause to:

  1.  Give your eyes a break from visual strain
  2. Take a deep breath and release tension
  3. Bring awareness to and reset your posture
  4.  Connect with your feet and sit bones
