Self-care is a critical part of wellness. There are simple strategies that can easily be incorporated into a non-negotiable part of your daily routine that will make a difference. We all know about the importance of brushing and flossing our teeth. We don’t resent brushing our teeth; it is a part of our day.
Our body structure also needs attention. The Sun Salutation, as taught to me in one of those bonus classes I took way back in college, is a simple series of yoga poses that will promote spinal and postural flexibility and strength. It takes less than 5 minutes, and can be done anywhere:
